Recently, I have missed blogging. However, I would say that I was torn with really committing to a blog again. I have fallen out of love with Facebook. The changes, the questionable security, the concern that someone is profiting from knowledge about my every day life in such an unabashed way. Yet, I have so many 'friends' there.
I decided that I would try blogging again. I really like being able to read the little things that have happened in the past in such detail as to help me remember even the emotions clearly.
Since I'm going to Marshall University, and Michael is applying for Ph.D.'s our life is certainly both boring and exciting all at the same time. We are eagerly awaiting word from Illinois University in Champaign Urbana, University of Georgia in Athens, and Tennessee in Knoxville. We have been declined by Michigan and Texas. Michigan's rejection was super ouchy. We visted the campus and met with advisors about a year ago and we really liked it. Illinois is our first choice. Illinois is much more attractive to me than Georgia and Tennessee.
I changed majors from Psychology to Anthropology because that is where you will find my heart.
My homework and reading schedule are severly interfering with my yarn/craft schedule.
Our four cats are spoiled. Hemlock is getting to be old man cat. Domina is still cross-eyed and crazy Siamese. Pfeiffer is in some sort of teenage rebellion where she will never forgive me for dethroning her. Lois is as aggressive as she is sweet, smart, and insistent on the order in the house is somehow supposed to be with her at the top.
I wish I had something witty and chipper to say, but "Imagined Communities" won't read itself by 1 p.m. Check ya later.
